Mena and Missy

Mena Alexa Suvari, born 1979. She is a famous American model, fashion designer and actor. Her modeling career began in 1990. She soon shifted to acting after appearances in television shows like Boy Meets World or High Incident. Her first film appearance was on 1997's dramatic Nowhere. The actress made her way to major roles with her performances on American Beauty for which she was nominated for an BAFTA Award and American Pie both of which earned the attention of the world. Her next role was Loser (2000), with American Pie actor Jason Biggs. Then she appeared as the role of the title character in Sugar & Spice (2002). Her appearances were in the 2002 independent drama Spun and in the 2004 thriller feature Trauma. Her other appearances include HBO's drama Six Feet Under. She was also cast in the film version of Day of Dead and The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, and the film adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari is the model for Lancome cosmetics as well as print ads for Lancome Paris Adaptive and has been featured in a variety of magazines and fashion blogs including Vogue. She is an active advocate and supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation. Also, she is involved in issues of female empowerment and works with organizations that promote awareness of breast cancer and an End Violence Against Women Campaign. She has modeled high-profile products including Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada or the Olympics. Missy has starred in Stick It Backcountry as well as in Something Red as well as Wide Awake. She did a great job with all three films, and she was the actor she is. Missy is an incredibly generous lady. She is involved in philanthropic projects. She is a part of an non-political group dedicated to offering affordable shoes that are safe for South America. Also, she was honored as the Best Actress Nominee for the Streamy Award at the Leo Awards.
